Corps Member Missing in Ondo: Family Appeals for Help
Okeke Godwin Chukwuemeka, a corps member serving in Akure, Ondo State, has been reported missing just a month before the completion of his service.
According to Joshua Ameh, Chukwuemeka’s cousin, the corps member, who hails from Enugu State, has been missing for over a month. Chukwuemeka was last seen serving at the Shiloh Embassy Spiritual Defense Academy in Akure.
Ameh, speaking to The Cable Lifestyle, disclosed that the family has shared Chukwuemeka’s pictures on social media and reported the incident to the police. “I came to know about the issue of my missing brother about three weeks ago. That was when it came to my knowledge,” Ameh said. “He has been missing for a month now or a month plus, but I don’t know the specific date.”
Chukwuemeka’s mother, due to her unavailability, has not been fully involved, leaving Ameh to spearhead the search efforts. He urges anyone with useful information on Chukwuemeka’s whereabouts to call 09040220553 or contact the nearest police station.
As of now, both the Ondo State Police and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have yet to issue statements regarding the situation.
