Coronavirus Kills One Doctor, 32 Others Infected in Kano
Chairman of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Kano State chapter, Dr. Sunusi Muhammad Bala, on Tuesday disclosed that the association has lost one doctor to coronavirus while 32 others tested positive for the virus.
Bala who made the disclosure during an interview in Kano said members of the association has resolved that they would no longer risk their lives if they are not provided with Personal Protection Equipments.
The infected doctors according to Bala contracted the virus while treating patients with symptoms of the virus.
“We have 32 doctors who are positive and one doctor is dead in Kano. We are still compiling the list but as of now, we have 32 in the last two weeks,” he said.
