Buhari shows Tinubu #NextLevel as he snubs 11th Bola Tinubu Colloquium in Abuja.
Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari may have sent a coded message to APC leader Bola Tinubu by his conspicuous absence at the 11th edition of the Bola Tinubu Colloquium.
It was gathered that despite the fact that the event was held in Abuja to give Buhari proximity to attend, he never turned up.
Also conspicuously absent was wife of the president, Mrs Aisha Buhari.
President Buhari was however represented by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and his wife Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo.
Tinubu, in his vote of thanks mentioned that Buhari would have been there if not for a meeting with some pension people but the details are still not clear.
Sources close to the president had indicated days ago that despite the event being moved to Abuja that the president would not attend.
The congratulatory letter sent to Tinubu was also not signed by Buhari. It was signed by his spokesperson Femi Adesina.
