Buhari Redeploys Keyamo
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the redeployment of the Minister of state for Niger Delta Affairs, Festus Keyamo (SAN) to the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
In a letter dated 23rd September, 2019 marked SGF.12/S.6/XII/219 and signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, Keyamo was directed to resume duties as the Minister of state at the Labour Ministry on Tuesday(today). Tayo Alasoadura, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment was directed to move to the opposite direction.
No reason was given for the redeployment which came one month after the ministers were inaugurated. Keyamo served as the spokesman of the Buhari re-election campaign.
