Buhari Appoints Man Who Helped Lai Mohammed Capture BBC, Balarabe Ilelah As NBC DG
Veteran journalist Balarabe Ilelah has been appointed as the new DG of the NBC.
This is after acting DG of NBC, Prof. Armstrong Idachaba was sacked without any explanation.
Balarabe Illelah from Bauchi state was a former APC Senatorial aspirant.
Ilelah was also head of Media and Publicity Committee of APC Campaign Council in the state
Ilelah a former BBC employee is believed to have been instrumental in helping the government lying machine Lai Mohammed capture the BBC in Nigeria and turn it to a pro government propaganda machine.
He had served in the NTA early on in his career.
Balarabe Ilelah attended Kobi primary school, Bauchi and Junior Secondary School Misau.
He is a graduate of Bayero University Kano (BUK).
He started his career as a journalist with Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Bauchi.
He left Nigeria to Soviet Union and then to China.
