Breaking: Nigerian army prevents Lagos state judicial panel of inquiry on #EndSARS from inspecting Military Hospital
The Lagos state judicial panel of inquiry on #EndSARS has made an unscheduled visit to the Military hospital in Ikoyi to inspect the morgue.
Members of the panel met with resistance from soldiers who refuse to grant team access.
A member of the panel Ebun Adegboruwa told reporters present that they have confidential information that there might be evidence relating to their investigation within the premises and confirmed that they have brought a pathologist with them to inspect bodies found in the morgue.
The military authorities eventually asked the panel members and journalists to leave the premises and threatened them when they refused.
After delaying the members of the panel for 30 minutes they were finally allowed in and are being led around the premises by a military official. But the panel was not allowed to inspect the morgue and were eventually asked to leave the premises.
