Breaking: Amaechi Escapes Lynching by Angry Nigerians in Spain

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi on Friday escaped being lynched by some angry Nigerians living in Madrid, the Spanish capital during his visit there.

According to a tweet that emanated from the Minister’s official Twitter handle, @ChibuikeAmaechi, he said he was rescued by Spanish Police. Amaechi thanked Nigerians for their prayers and support.

Some minutes ago, I was attacked by a few misguided Nigerians while on national assignment at a climate change event in Madrid, Spain. They were quickly repelled by the Spanish police before they could do any harm. I am fine. I was not hurt. Thanks for your support & prayers.
