Boy Killed in Anambra After Refusing Kidnappers’ Demand to Assault Sister

Suspected kidnappers in Anambra State have allegedly killed a boy after he refused their demand to sexually assault his sister. The disturbing incident was made public by human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu through his official Facebook page.

According to Gwamnishu, the boy and his two sisters were abducted by armed men. When the family could not meet the ransom demand, the abductors reportedly subjected the children to cruel and degrading treatment. In a shocking escalation, the kidnappers allegedly ordered the boy to violate one of his sisters. His refusal, Gwamnishu claimed, led to his execution by the captors.

“This is more than a crime; it is a wake-up call,” Gwamnishu wrote. “No child, no woman, no citizen should live under the shadow of such terror.” He called on the government and security agencies to dismantle kidnapping networks, intensify security patrols, and ensure swift justice for victims.

When contacted, Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said there was no such report before him at the time but promised to investigate the matter. He also requested any available video evidence to assist in the inquiry.

The case has stirred widespread outrage, with many calling for urgent and decisive measures to curb the rising wave of violent crimes across th toe country.
