Boko Haram claims responsibility for missing School Children
Terrorist group, Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for the attack on the Kankara School Abduction that led to the displacement of 600 school children.
Several of the students managed to escape but unfortunately, many others were split into groups and taken into hostage. The scourge has started the #BringBackOurBoys trend on social media, while several parents have gone out to protest for the safe return of the yet to return missing school children
The attack was initially attributed to common criminals by the Army, according to Maj. Gen John Enenche as reported by BBC Focus on Africa
Abubakar Shekau reportedly released a voice note claiming to be behind the attack that has caused the most recent unrest in the northern part of the country.
At the moment, over 300 students are still missing while 17 were recently found.

A boy who managed to escape shared how the boys who ran into the surroundings were deceived by the terrorists who claimed to be security personnel and ended up taking them up as hostages as they continued to thread an unknown path into the forest.
According to him at least 520 students were counted before he made his escape into a nearby village.
