B’Haram Vows To Recapture Territories Recovered By Troops
Boko Haram has vowed to recapture the territories recovered by Nigerian troops.
Security analyst and a counter-insurgency expert on Lake Chad region, Zagazola Makama, disclosed this, yesterday, in a video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The terrorists also threatened to attack the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), whom they referred to as “Yan Red Cross”, accusing them of joining forces with the military to attack them in their enclaves.
One of the armed terrorists said in Hausa: “We are here to announce loud and clear that we are fully back to reclaim all the territories we lost to infidels.
“For you, Red Cross, you are elated because they gave arms to you; let it be known to you that you cannot win against Islam. We depend on the power of Allah and by his might, we will conquer.”
In a related development, the Speaker, House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, has condemned the killing of two persons at the Kofar Gayan area of Zaria, Kaduna State during an attack by bandits on Saturday night.
The bandits, who invaded the area, were reported to have shot two persons dead, and made unsuccessful attempts to kidnap others.
In a statement, yesterday, by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Krishi, the Speaker said the lives of Nigerians, wherever they are, should be protected; hence, the need for security operatives to up their game in the protection of life and property.
He said the killings, coming just over 24 hours after the death of many individuals during the collapse of parts of Zaria Central Mosque, were most unfortunate, barbaric and abhorrent.
Abbas, who represents Zaria Federal Constituency, called for thorough investigation into the dastardly act to unravel those behind it.
