Bandits Steal Christmas Food, Drinks from Motorcyclist in Kaduna
Bandits in Gidan Abe community, Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State, intercepted and stole foodstuffs and drinks meant for Christmas celebrations from a man riding a motorcycle.
According to a local community leader who spoke with reporters on Monday, the incident occurred on Saturday around 5:23 PM. The victim had purchased a bag of rice, drinks, and condiments from Katari and was on his way back to Gidan Abe village when armed bandits on motorcycles blocked his path. They seized the items and fled the scene.
Despite the theft, the bandits did not harm or abduct the man, leaving him physically unharmed. The victim reported the incident to community members shortly after it occurred.
The Kaduna State Police Command’s spokesperson, ASP Hassan Mansur, had not issued a statement or confirmed the incident at the time of this report.
