Bandits Attack Church Camp in Nasarawa, Kill Three Worshippers
Three worshippers have been killed in a brutal attack by bandits on a church camp in Nyanya, Nasarawa State. The incident occurred during a night vigil last Monday at the Divine Majesty Worship Ministry, where the attackers stormed a hostel that housed financially disadvantaged congregants.
The spokesperson for the Nasarawa State Police Command, Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the attack, stating that several worshippers were also abducted during the raid. The kidnappers later demanded a ransom of N100 million.
Despite the severity of the situation, the police were able to successfully rescue the abducted victims within 48 hours. All those rescued have since been reunited with their families.
