“Attack in Jos Was Orchestrated to Embarrass Tinubu on His Birthday” — Cubana Chiefpriest
Social media personality Cubana Chiefpriest has reacted to the recent violence reported in Anguwan Rukuba, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, linking the timing of the incident to political implications.
In a post circulating online, he suggested that the attack may not have been coincidental, alleging it was designed to embarrass Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose birthday coincided with the date of the incident.
He was quoted as saying the situation “was orchestrated to embarrass Tinubu on his birthday,” expressing concern over what he described as troubling security lapses in the area.
He also criticized the response of the Plateau State government, particularly the conduct of Governor Caleb Mutfwang, questioning reports that the governor visited the scene in an armoured vehicle. According to him, such optics send the wrong message about leadership and safety in affected communities.
“The governor arriving in an armoured vehicle raises serious questions about the reality on ground,” he reportedly added, while urging authorities to do more to protect residents and prevent further attacks.
