Lere Olayinka, media aide to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, has criticized Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi following comments he made about marriage and infidelity during a past podcast interview.
Obi, speaking on *The Honest Bunch* podcast in 2024, said he would not end his marriage or react angrily if his wife were unfaithful, stressing that such actions would not redefine his relationship or personal identity.
“As long as I am alive, she is my wife… Whatever she likes, let her do,” Obi said, adding that any wrongdoing would be the responsibility of the individual involved, not a shared burden on the marriage.
Reacting on social media, Olayinka revisited the comments and questioned Obi’s stance on family and responsibility. He also made additional remarks about Obi’s children and lifestyle choices, before concluding with the question: “How exactly is a failed husband and father measured?”
