Apprentice Dies in Onitsha Hotel After Taking Hard Drugs for Sexual Encounter with Salesgirl
A young apprentice, Kenechukwu, popularly known as KC, has tragically died in a hotel room in Onitsha, Anambra State, after allegedly taking hard drugs to enhance his performance during a sexual encounter with a salesgirl. The incident occurred earlier this week and has sparked widespread discussion on social media.
KC, who was nearing the completion of his apprenticeship at Onitsha Main Market and was set to be settled by December, reportedly booked a room in a popular Onitsha hotel for a rendezvous with the salesgirl, identified as Precious. According to sources, the two had agreed on a sexual arrangement, with Precious allegedly engaging in “hook-up” services.
Precious recounted the events leading up to the tragedy in a video circulating online. She explained that when she arrived at the hotel, KC was already lying down, having consumed a substance wrapped in nylon, which he claimed was water. Soon after, she noticed him becoming drowsy, prompting her to question him. As his condition worsened, she rushed to inform the hotel management.
The hotel staff advised Precious to contact KC’s family. Despite efforts by a family member and even prayers by his pastor, who was reached by phone, KC was unresponsive. By the time help arrived, he had already stopped breathing.
When contacted, the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ikenga Tochukwu, stated that he had not been made aware of the incident.
