Anthony Joshua Cheats Death in Ogun Road Crash; Two Killed
World-renowned boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a serious road accident today in Makun, Ogun State.
According to eyewitnesses, Joshua’s vehicle, a Lexus Jeep (number plate KRD 850 HN), collided with a stationary truck along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway near Danco Filling Station, before the Sagamu Interchange on the Ibadan-bound lane. The circumstances of the crash are currently under investigation.
A reporter at the scene, who also assisted in the rescue, confirmed that Joshua sustained minor injuries. Unfortunately, two people died at the site of the collision.
Local authorities are continuing their investigation, and fans have taken to social media to express concern for the boxer’s well-being. Attempts to reach TRACE Commandant Akinbiyi Babatunde for further details were unsuccessful.
