Aisha Yesufu Challenges President Tinubu to Follow Atiku’s Lead and Visit Alma Mater
Sociopolitical commentator Aisha Yesufu has cast doubt on President Bola Tinubu’s academic history, urging his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, to encourage the president to visit his alma mater. Yesufu’s challenge comes in the wake of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar’s recent visit to his primary school in Jada, Adamawa State.
In a video shared on social media, Atiku expressed nostalgia, stating, “Today, I returned to where it all started. My Alma Mater, Central Primary School, Jada. -AA” Responding to this, Yesufu directed her query at Onanuga, questioning, “Where is that mentally abducted afterthought of an SSA @aonanuga1956? Focus on getting Chief Tinubu or whatever he decides to call himself today to go to his alma mater too.”
Yesufu emphasized the importance of such visits, drawing attention to her husband’s recent reunion at his secondary school. The challenge comes amidst controversy surrounding President Tinubu’s academic records, including allegations of attending institutions mentioned on his credentials, such as Chicago State University (CSU). Despite claims, CSU maintained that Tinubu was indeed admitted and graduated from the institution.
