Aggrieved House Wife Kills Husband, Hacks Alleged Side Chick to Death, Injures Witness in Delta

A housewife from Isoko, Delta State, has been arrested after allegedly killing her husband and his alleged mistress, and injuring a neighbor who tried to intervene, in Ighwre-Ovie, Ughelli North Local Government Area.

Reports indicate that the woman attacked her husband with a machete at their home, inflicting multiple head injuries that resulted in his death. She then went to the residence of the man’s alleged mistress, where she reportedly used a hammer to kill her.

During the incident, a female neighbor who attempted to stop the attack was seriously injured and is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital. Another resident narrowly escaped harm but alerted others, leading to the woman’s arrest.

According to community sources, the suspect, a mother of two, had repeatedly accused her husband of infidelity and had become increasingly frustrated over his alleged extramarital affairs.

The suspect is currently being held at the Ughelli Area Command, and the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Edafe Bright, has yet to release an official statement on the case.
