Adamawa Senator Allegedly Involved in New Sex Video Scandal
Adamawa State Senator Ishaku Abbo has become the subject of controversy once again, this time linked to a viral sex video circulating on social media. The video, which surfaced late last week, allegedly shows a light-skinned man engaged in sexual activity with a married woman. While the identity of the man has not been confirmed, some have pointed to Senator Abbo as the individual in the footage, an accusation he strongly denies.
Senator Abbo, who gained notoriety two years ago during his first Senate tenure after an incident where he attacked a breastfeeding mother in an Abuja sex toy shop, addressed the latest allegations during a press conference held on Thursday.
“How can you identify a person without seeing his face, his body, only parts of his legs and you said it is Senator Abbo,” the senator questioned, dismissing the claims as baseless. He attributed the circulation of the video to his political opponents, whom he accused of attempting to tarnish his reputation through “timid blackmail.”
Despite being removed from his Senate seat by an Appeal Court earlier this year, Abbo remains confident in his political future. He referenced a previous case involving a senator from another northern state who won re-election despite being involved in a sex scandal, emphasizing that his supporters will not be swayed by these allegations.
Senator Abbo has threatened legal action against those responsible for the video’s circulation, warning that attempts to damage his image will not affect his political ambitions. He reiterated his belief that his track record in the Senate would secure the continued support of his constituents.
