Abuja High Court Sacks Ayogu Eze as APC Candidate

The crisis rocking the Enugu state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Tuesday took another dimension as a Federal High Court in Abuja sacked Ayogu Eze as the governorship candidate for the party in the state.
The court in delivering its judgement recognised Barrister George Ogara as the duly elected candidate of the party for the March 2, governorship election.
Eze represented Enugu North in the Senate from 2007 to 2015 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before defecting to the APC. He was elected the governorship candidate of the party in the controversial primary that was held last year.
