Abia Set to Host 5-Million-Man March in Support of President Tinubu, Senator Orji Kalu
The Coalition of Southeast Youth Leaders (COSEYL) has announced plans to hold a massive rally in Abia State to show support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu. The event, which the group says will mobilize five million youths from across the Southeast, is aimed at endorsing the Tinubu administration and its achievements.
According to a statement by COSEYL President General, Comrade Goodluck Ibem, and Secretary General, Comrade Okey Nwaoru, preparations for the rally have been finalized. The group emphasized their satisfaction with the policies of President Tinubu, noting that they have brought notable progress to the region in areas such as infrastructure, healthcare, and education.
Ibem stated that the rally would serve as a platform to celebrate what the group describes as the “outstanding leadership” of both President Tinubu and Senator Kalu, who represents Abia North in the Senate. He also highlighted Kalu’s role as a key ally of the President, describing him as a driving force behind many of the administration’s initiatives in the Southeast.
The coalition expressed confidence that the rally will build momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections and strengthen support for the President’s vision for national development. COSEYL believes that with Senator Kalu’s influence and the backing of the youth, President Tinubu stands a strong chance of securing a significant electoral victory in the region.
