91-Year-Old Billionaire Dies Weeks After Marrying Sixth Wife
Richard Lugner, a 91-year-old Austrian billionaire renowned for his flamboyant lifestyle and high-profile marriages, passed away recently at his villa in Vienna. His death occurred just weeks after marrying his sixth wife, Simone, who is 42 years old.
Lugner, a construction tycoon and socialite, was well-known for his extravagant public appearances and connections with A-list celebrities. He was often referred to as “Mr. Concrete” and was famous for paying substantial sums to celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Geri Halliwell, and Paris Hilton to accompany him to Vienna’s annual Opera Ball.
Simone, who was 49 years his junior, shared a poignant tribute to her late husband, calling him “the dream of her life.” Alongside her tribute, Simone posted a painting of Richard on Instagram and reflected on their relationship, describing him as a beacon of success and admiration.
In an interview with Kurier earlier this year, Simone expressed her admiration for Richard, stating, “He was everything I wanted in a man—successful, respected, and a figure to look up to and learn from. Men like him are rare these days.”
