6 Years Ago, I Predicted Yahaya Bello Would End Up in Prison – Dino Melaye Mocks Former Governor
Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello will spend the holiday season in Kuje Correctional Centre following a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court ruling. The court, presided over by Justice Maryann Anenih, remanded Bello in custody on Tuesday in connection with a N110 billion money laundering case brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The court also scheduled the case for hearing on January 29 and 30, and February 25 and 27, 2024, while awaiting the outcome of Bello’s bail application.
Former Senator Dino Melaye expressed elation over the development, taking to his official X handle to remind followers of a prediction he made six years ago. Melaye stated, “6 years ago, SDM predicted Yahaya Bello would end up in prison. Today, he will be spending Christmas in Kuje prison. All powers belong to God.”
