4 Popular Gospel Singers from Same Family Die in Devastating Ogun Road Crash
A heartbreaking tragedy struck in Ogun State as four popular gospel singers from the same family lost their lives in a fatal road accident along the Ikorodu-Sagamu Road.
The Ogun State Commander and Public Information Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Florence Okupe, confirmed the incident in an official statement. She identified the deceased as Evangelist Ayodeji Kekerejesu, Evangelist Iyanu Joseph, Monjolajesu Oluwapamilerin, and Opeyemi Adesina.
According to the FRSC, the singers were travelling together when their vehicle collided with another, leading to a devastating impact. All four victims died instantly at the scene of the crash.
The accident has sent shockwaves through the gospel music community, with fans and fellow artists mourning the sudden and tragic loss. The singers were known for their powerful worship performances and inspirational music that touched many lives across Nigeria.
Authorities have begun an investigation into the cause of the accident, urging drivers to maintain caution on the road, especially along the Ikorodu-Sagamu corridor, which has witnessed several accidents in recent times.
