340 abducted Kankara schoolboys regain freedom
Two top officials of the Katsina State Government have reliably confirmed the safe release of all the abducted students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara.
This is coming six days after they were abducted in their dormitories at night by bandits. Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for the abduction and released a video of the schoolboys.
The reliable sources who spoke to reporters on condition of anonymity also confirmed the total number of boys released to be 340.
As at the time of filing this story, the boys who just regained their freedom are on transit to Katsina State.

Recall that the 340 students were abducted during an attack on their school on Friday night.
