18 Year Old Bus Conductor wins Chess Tournament
An 18 year old boy, Adeoye Fawaz, has emerged champion in a Chess and Mental Maths tournament held in Oshodi, Lagos.
The tournament is the brainchild of “Chess In Slums Initiative”, founded by Tunde Onakoya.
“Chess In Slum Africa” takes up the mantle of bringing the best out of children in these areas regardless of their arduous circumstances.
At a recent edition of the event held in Oshodi, Onakoya revealed via his Twitter account that Adeoye Fawaz who has lived years of his life under the Oshodi bridge and presently works as a bus conductor emerged as overall champion in both Chess and Mental Maths
Adeoye Fawaz however revealed that he would love to become a comedian and musician.
