Why I’ve Been Quiet This Long – Dino Melaye
Former Kogi West Senatorial District representative, Dino Melaye, has explained the reason behind his recent silence in the political space. Speaking on Arise Television’s Prime Time on Monday, Melaye disclosed that he deliberately stepped back from public engagements to focus on his education.
The former lawmaker revealed that his decision has yielded results, as he has not only completed his studies but has also been called to the Nigerian Bar. “I have been quiet because I was in school. I did not want Nigeria to happen to me. I needed them to let me graduate,” he said. “I have graduated now, and I have been called to the largest bar in Africa.”
Melaye, known for his outspoken nature, emphasized that his time away from public commentary was a necessary sacrifice to achieve his academic and professional goals.
