Video: “Mazi, You Will Be Out” — Omoyele Sowore Tells Nnamdi Kanu During Court Visit
Human rights activist and former AAC presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, met with the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday, October 23.
A viral video captured the heartfelt exchange between the two men inside the courtroom. Sowore could be seen embracing Kanu and assuring him, “Mazi, you will be out!” In response, Kanu smiled warmly and said, “Good to see you,” as they shook hands.
The meeting came just days after Sowore led a protest in Abuja demanding Kanu’s release. The IPOB leader has remained in detention as his trial continues over allegations related to his separatist movement.
