Tinubu Will Give Us Anioma State, Senator Ned Nwoko Tells Constituents

Senator Ned Nwoko has declared that the creation of Anioma State is within reach under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC). Speaking during a weekend event in Delta State, Nwoko expressed strong confidence that the Tinubu administration is committed to correcting regional imbalances by establishing the long-demanded state.

The occasion was marked by the visit of APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and the formal reception of members of the Delta Unity Group from the Ika Federal Constituency into the APC. The event drew key party leaders from Delta and Edo States, including Senator Nwoko, who represents Delta North and played a central role in the gathering.

In a statement shared by Nwoko’s media consultant, Michael Ogar, the senator hailed the visit by Ganduje as a milestone for the Anioma people and a clear signal of the federal government’s resolve to ensure inclusiveness and fairness across Nigeria. “This is the clearest signal that the dream of Anioma State is not only alive but is now anchored at the very heart of national policymaking. Our people deserve inclusion, and this is the pathway to lasting justice and balance in the Nigerian federation,” Nwoko said.

Addressing party faithful, stakeholders, and supporters, APC National Chairman Ganduje gave a bold endorsement of the Anioma cause, declaring, “The creation of Anioma State is a done deal.” He emphasized that the aspiration for Anioma State is in line with the APC’s vision of national unity and equity. Ganduje assured attendees that the move enjoys the full backing of President Tinubu, APC governors, the National Assembly, and the wider leadership of the party.

Senator Nwoko described the event as “a defining moment for Delta politics and for the Anioma people,” underscoring its significance in the broader struggle for representation and development in the region.
