Notorious IPOB/ESN Kidnapper Captured by Nigerian Troops in Anambra
Nigerian security forces have successfully captured Sunday Ofordimze Asika, infamously known as Aboy Ekwensu, a notorious figure within the Indigenous People of Biafra/Eastern Security Network (IPOB/ESN). Asika has long been sought by authorities for his alleged involvement in various criminal activities in Anambra State.
Asika, who had been evading capture for some time, is accused of being part of a dangerous syndicate responsible for numerous acts of terror in the Uga/Nkpologwu and Ezinifite communities within the Aguta Local Government Area. His arrest marks a major breakthrough in the ongoing efforts to curb criminal activities in the region.
During the operation, security personnel recovered a range of items from the suspect, including six cartridges, five machetes, a laptop, a vehicle, and various charms believed to be used for criminal purposes. Authorities are continuing their investigation to dismantle the rest of the syndicate and restore peace to the affected communities.
