Nigerian Man Reveals COVID-19 Stimulus Package He Received From Canadian Government, Says Nigerian Leaders Do Not Care About Nigerians
A Canada-based Nigerian has revealed the stimulus support he received from the Canadian Government.
The man who revealed the payment on Twitter using the handle @ChuksJaphet, said he received the first payment of $2,000 Canadian dollars and additional $290 from the government. He said unlike Nigerian Government that merely offered to evacuate Nigerians living abroad, the Canadian government cares about the wellbeing of the citizens.

The Canadian Government last month announced that it will pay citizens $2,000 to cushion the effects of COVID-19 lockdown.
The United States also announced the payment of $1,200 to Americans.
Nigeria’s N20,000 payments to the most vulnerable was marred by controversy following allegations of fraud.
