Mandy Kiss, Who Once Claimed She Would Sleep With 100 Men in 24 Hours for Guinness Record, Named Drug Abuse Ambassador by Lagos Govt

The Lagos State Government has named social media personality Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, popularly known as Mandy Kiss, as an ambassador for its campaign against drug and substance abuse. The announcement was made on Tuesday by the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mobolaji Ogunlende, during an event organised by the Lagos State Kick Against Drug and Substance Abuse (LASKADA).

Ogunlende described drug abuse as a pressing social crisis and said the government was working with influencers to reach young people across the state. “Drugs are a pandemic that is hitting our streets, our society, and our community. The government cannot fight it alone. We must work in collaboration with those that can reach as many people as possible, and we know Mandy Kiss has a large followership, 402,000. We’ve had conversations and we’re trying to do things differently,” he said.

Formally conferring the ambassadorship, Ogunlende declared, “With the powers conferred on me, I make her one of our brand ambassadors. So, say no to drugs. Say what? Say no to drugs.”

The appointment has drawn mixed reactions, largely due to Mandy Kiss’s recent controversies. Earlier this year, she sparked outrage after announcing a plan to attempt a Guinness World Record marathon sex act with 100 men in a single day in Ikorodu, Lagos. Guinness World Records swiftly distanced itself from the stunt, clarifying that it does not monitor or endorse sexual activity as a record category. Mandy Kiss later claimed the announcement was a joke, but it triggered public backlash and calls for her arrest.

In response to concerns, Ogunlende urged the public to focus on the campaign’s goals rather than the ambassador’s past. “Everybody has a past, nobody’s perfect, but again, as a brand ambassador to Lagos State Kicks Against Drug Abuse, we hope Mandy Kiss will be able to reach the nooks and crannies of Lagos to assist us in fighting this pandemic,” he said.

Details of Mandy Kiss’s specific role or upcoming campaigns have not been disclosed. LASKADA, the state’s coordinating body on drug abuse, leads advocacy, education, community engagement, policy influence, and research to combat substance abuse across Lagos.
