JUST IN: Tinubu Holds Closed-Door Meeting with Newly Appointed Service Chiefs
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently holding a closed-door meeting with the newly appointed Service Chiefs at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Although the agenda of the meeting has not been officially disclosed, sources suggest it may be connected to ongoing efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s security architecture. The Presidency has earlier described the recent appointments as a strategic move to boost professionalism and efficiency across the nation’s security services.
Those in attendance include the Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede; Chief of Army Staff, Major General Waidi Shaibu; Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Kennedy Aneke; and Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Idi Abbas.
The meeting comes amid heightened expectations for renewed coordination among the armed forces to address the country’s evolving security challenges.
