JUST IN: APC Presents Membership Card to Governor Fubara in Port Harcourt
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has officially welcomed Governor Siminalayi Fubara as a member, issuing him a party membership card. The process, which took place on Friday, followed Fubara’s recent announcement of his defection to the APC.
The card was presented to the governor by Tony Okocha, who heads the state APC executive committee, during a courtesy visit at the Government House in Port Harcourt. The registration was witnessed by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, who was in the state for a project inauguration and flag-off.
Fubara’s move comes amid ongoing political discussions in the state, with the governor emphasizing unity and progress despite earlier reports of disagreements within the local political landscape.
Further details are expected as the story develops.
