(JUST IN) Another Price Cut: Dangote Refinery Lowers Petrol Rate to Ease Burden
In a continued effort to ease fuel costs for Nigerians, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has again slashed the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS). The latest reduction sees the price drop from ₦865 to ₦835 per litre—a 3.5% cut.
This marks the second price cut in quick succession by the refinery, which had earlier reduced the rate from ₦880. The move aligns with recent declines in global crude oil prices, which have slipped from over $70 to around $64 per barrel.
However, despite these downward adjustments, fuel marketers have yet to fully reflect the reductions at retail stations, leaving pump prices unchanged in many areas.
