“It’s Fabricated” – Saraki Reacts to Reports Linking Him to 2027 Opposition Coalition

Former Senate President Bukola Saraki has firmly denied reports suggesting his involvement in an opposition coalition ahead of the 2027 presidential election. In a statement released by Yusuph Olaniyonu of the Abubakar Bukola Saraki Media Office, Saraki dismissed the claims as false, describing them as a product of fabricated quotes and misleading narratives designed by political opponents.

Saraki emphasized that the story in question was built on unnamed sources and faceless individuals, with no concrete evidence to back its claims. He further criticized the journalist behind the report for not seeking clarification or presenting an accurate representation of his position. According to the statement, the publication was the result of speculative interpretations about his decision to remain silent on ongoing political coalition talks.

Those close to Saraki, the statement noted, would understand his cautious and deliberate communication style, both publicly and privately. It insisted that the former Kwara State governor would never make offhand remarks that could be misconstrued or used against him.

Saraki has made it clear that he has no connection to the views expressed in the circulating story or the accompanying graphic design, which the statement claimed were orchestrated by opposition figures in Kwara State. He urged Nigerians to disregard the false reports, calling them deliberate attempts to misrepresent his political stance.
