“In the Coming Days We Will Know Who the Terrorists and Their Financiers Are” — Daniel Bwala
Daniel Bwala, special adviser to President Bola Tinubu on policy communication, has announced that the federal government will soon disclose the financiers of terrorism in Nigeria.
In an interview on Television Continental (TVC) on Sunday, Bwala said the government is implementing significant measures whose outcomes will be evident in the near future. He emphasized that terrorism is a global challenge, noting that international cooperation is essential to address it effectively.
“Since the wake of 9/11, terrorism became a global issue. Any region affected by it is a concern for the world,” Bwala stated. He highlighted the shifting dynamics of terrorist activity, pointing out that while these groups were once concentrated in the Middle East, they are increasingly moving toward the Sahel region to establish new bases.
Bwala added that Nigeria is taking decisive action domestically and that the identities of terrorists and their backers will be revealed in the coming days.
