The wife of Aboy Chibuzor has addressed public scrutiny surrounding her marriage, clarifying details about her personal life following widespread online reactions.

Speaking in a video shared on the Facebook page of Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the woman stated that she is a widow with three children. She explained that her late husband is the father of her children and dismissed assumptions about her past.

She also noted that she hails from Edo State and was raised in Rivers State.

The marriage has generated significant public discussion, with some questioning the circumstances of the union and others focusing on the bride’s background.

Prior to the wedding, Apostle Chinyere had publicly sought a wife for Aboy, offering financial support including ₦10 million, a house, and an overseas trip.

In response to criticism, the cleric said he did not intend to demean women and apologised to anyone who felt offended. He added that the decision was based on Aboy’s need for constant care, expressing the view that marriage would provide companionship and support.
