How Senator Ned Nwoko ‘Travelled Internationally With Underage Wife Regina Daniels, Changed Her Name, Introduced Her to Drugs, and Got Fake Voter’s Card’ – Sowore Alleges

Human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has accused Senator Ned Nwoko of serious misconduct involving his wife, actress Regina Daniels. Sowore released new evidence alleging that the senator traveled internationally with Daniels when she was still a minor and took steps to conceal her real age.

According to records cited by Sowore, Regina Daniels was born in October 2001, making her 17 years old when her marriage to Nwoko became public in May 2019. The activist argued that the union, which occurred before she reached the age of consent, violated the Child Rights Act.

In his statement, Sowore claimed that Nwoko deliberately changed Daniels’ name from “Regina Nneamaka Favour Ojeogwu” to “Regina Daniels” and obtained a falsified voter’s card from the Independent National Electoral Commission to disguise her true age. He further alleged that the senator introduced her to drugs to manipulate her into submission.

Sowore also released details of what he described as international trips the couple made to countries including Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt using a passport that indicated Daniels was underage. He said Nwoko avoided taking her to the United States or the United Kingdom to prevent possible legal consequences.

“The facts point to a violation of both moral and statutory boundaries,” Sowore stated, insisting that no one should be shielded from accountability by political influence.

These allegations surfaced as Regina Daniels publicly accused her husband of using his political power to intimidate her family. The actress recently posted a series of emotional messages on Instagram, alleging that Nwoko orchestrated the arrest of her elder brother and sister to force her return home and submit to a so-called rehabilitation program.

“Someone please help me! I feel like I’m losing my mind,” she wrote, describing the ordeal as deeply distressing. Daniels claimed that the senator labeled her a drug addict and demanded she undergo rehabilitation, a claim she rejected while vowing to reveal the full story of their troubled relationship.
