Groom-to-be Stabbed to Death Days Before Wedding

Godwin Ojiji, who was set to marry next month, was fatally stabbed just days before his wedding.

Ojiji’s final Facebook post, shared on December 16, 2025, included pre-wedding photos with his fiancée and an invitation to their January 18–19, 2026 celebrations.

According to the bride-to-be’s brother, Ojiji was attacked at the entrance of his home by an unidentified assailant and did not survive.

“This tragic event has left my younger sister a widow,” he wrote on Facebook. “Hearing about incidents like this always felt distant, but now it has affected us directly, leaving my sister and their two children in deep grief.”

Friends and family have taken to social media to express their sorrow over Ojiji’s death.
