Ghanaian ‘Noah’ Completes Ark, Says Three-Year Rain Will Begin on Christmas Day
A Ghanaian preacher known as Ebo Noah has drawn widespread attention after announcing that a three-year rainfall capable of flooding the earth would begin on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025. He claims to have completed an ark that he says will serve as the only refuge when the prophesied disaster begins.
In August, Ebo Noah released a video on Instagram that quickly went viral, declaring that he had received a divine revelation instructing him to build the ark in preparation for a catastrophic flood. Despite references by critics to the biblical account in Genesis 9, where God promises never to destroy the earth again by flood, the preacher has maintained that his message is divinely inspired and non-negotiable.
In recent updates shared on social media, Ebo Noah said the ark was about 80 per cent complete and that he had fulfilled his spiritual obligations ahead of the predicted event. In one post, he wrote that he had fasted and prayed for three weeks, urged people to repent, and interceded for Ghana and the rest of the world, adding that whatever happens next is in God’s hands.
Videos circulating online show the preacher arriving at the ark site in a Mercedes-Benz B-Class while dressed in his signature brown sackcloth. Reports estimate the vehicle’s value at about $89,000, a detail that has fueled debate and skepticism online. Further controversy followed the circulation of an advertisement in which Ebo Noah promoted a game night scheduled to run from December 24, 2025, to January 1, 2026, during which he remarked that he would still be around to have fun if nothing happened.
In November, the preacher addressed questions about who would be allowed into the ark, stating that it was open to people of all nationalities but limited to those who have a covenant with God. He also dismissed reports claiming that followers were selling their property or quitting their jobs to support him, insisting he had never asked anyone to do so, while thanking supporters who had voluntarily contributed.
According to Ebo Noah, he has been fasting and praying from Monday to Wednesday each week, interceding not only for Ghana but also for other countries, including Nigeria and South Africa. He has repeatedly called on followers to support him with prayers rather than drastic personal sacrifices.
Meanwhile, videos and photos shared on social media show large crowds gathered at the ark site, some lining up in anticipation of boarding. Reports estimate that about 380,000 followers have assembled, praying and waiting in what they believe are the final hours before a global reset.
The preacher’s claims have sparked intense debate online, with many commentators citing biblical scripture to challenge his prophecy, while others have mocked or criticized the situation. Despite the skepticism and controversy, Ebo Noah and his followers continue to wait as Christmas Day approaches.
