Footballer Hulk Marries Ex-Wife’s Niece Camila Angelo in Religious Ceremony

Brazilian footballer Hulk, currently playing for Atletico Mineiro, has tied the knot with his ex-wife’s niece, Camila Angelo, in a religious wedding ceremony. The couple, who had previously married in a civil ceremony in 2020, celebrated their union on Friday with a religious service in Hulk’s hometown of Campina Grande.

Taking to Instagram to mark the occasion, Hulk shared a heartfelt message: “Before God and the promises of our love, we unite in one heart, beginning our eternity together, life! I love you.”

Hulk’s previous marriage was to Camila’s aunt, Iran Angelo, with whom he was together for 12 years. They have three children—sons Ian and Tiago, and daughter Alice—who are cousins to Camila.

Hulk’s relationship with Camila made headlines in 2020, when he married her shortly after his split from Iran. The following year, the couple announced they were expecting their first child, Zaya, and last year revealed they were expecting their second, Aisha.

The wedding ceremony took place at the Diocesan Cathedral of Our Lady of the Conception, with the church decorated with an abundance of white roses. Hulk donned a wine-colored suit as he walked down the aisle with his mother, while Camila, wearing an embroidered dress by designer Samuel Cirnansck, was escorted by her father.

A celebration at a luxury resort in Joao Pessoa is planned for January 7 to continue the festivities.
