Court Grants Abba Kyari Two-Week Bail for Mother’s Burial
The Abuja Federal High Court has granted Abba Kyari, the former Commander of the Force Intelligence Response Team (IRT), a two-week bail period. This temporary release is intended to allow Kyari to return home and complete the burial rites for his mother.
The court has scheduled Friday, May 31, as the date to determine his bail application further. Kyari, who was apprehended by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on February 14, 2022, is currently facing trial on drug-related charges.
