Black Monday: Fatal Crash Near Campus Kills Five UNIPORT Students
A tragic accident claimed the lives of at least five students of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) on Monday, July 28. The incident occurred along the Eliozu–Rumuokoro Road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Eyewitness reports indicate that a shuttle bus transporting the students collided with a stationary trailer. Videos circulating online show officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) at the scene, recovering bodies and placing them in a van.
As of the time of this report, authorities have not released an official statement or confirmed the identities of the victims.
