On-air personality Daddy Freeze has sparked intense reactions online after making controversial remarks about women defending singer Chike, who is currently at the center of an alleged infidelity scandal.
The controversy follows claims linking Chike to Sandra Edoho, the estranged wife of broadcaster Frank Edoho. The situation escalated after audio recordings, allegedly capturing private conversations between the singer and Sandra Edoho, surfaced on social media.
Reacting during a live Instagram session, Daddy Freeze criticized what he described as public support for the alleged affair, insisting that such behaviour should not be encouraged.
“One of the reasons why men don’t touch married women is because they don’t want it done to them,” he said. “If you sleep with someone’s wife, they must sleep with yours as well. Frank Edoho might be a victim. His wife might be a victim but Chike is not a hero.”
He further directed his strongest criticism at women defending the singer, saying: “All of you women celebrating Chike, you people are useless. If you are among the people celebrating Chike, just count yourself among the useless people.”
He added, “All of you women celebrating Chike, God will punish you all.”
The remarks have triggered widespread debate across social media platforms, with users split between those condemning his language and others focusing on the morality of the allegations surrounding the singer.
