Anambra Police Arrest Wanted Armed Robbery Suspect, Recover Firearm
Operatives of the Anambra State Police Command, attached to the Rapid Response Squad in Awkuzu, have arrested a suspected armed robber who has been on the command’s wanted list.
The suspect, identified as Kingsley Eze, 34, was apprehended in Abagana on Saturday, September 20, 2025, following credible intelligence reports.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, a Magnum Pump Action gun and 12 live cartridges were recovered during the operation.
Eze is currently in police custody and undergoing interrogation. The command confirmed that he will be charged to court once investigations are concluded.
