Anambra Monarch Declares Three-Day Mourning for Late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah
In a solemn gesture of respect, His Royal Highness Igwe Dr. K.O.N Orizu III has announced a three-day mourning period to honor the late Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, who passed away in the United Kingdom.
According to a statement issued by Prince Dr. Obi Orizu, Principal Secretary to Igwe Nnewi, the mourning period will commence today, July 30, 2024, and conclude on August 1, 2024. The monarch has called upon the people of Nnewi, as well as non-indigenous residents, to participate in this period of remembrance.
The statement also encourages clergies from various religious groups to lead prayers for the peaceful repose of Senator Ubah’s soul.
