AAC Candidate Chioma Ifemeludike Invites Her 292 Voters to Lunch After Anambra Election Loss

Actress and filmmaker Chioma Ifemeludike, popularly known as IfeDike, has invited the 292 people who voted for her in the Anambra governorship election to a lunch in appreciation of their support.

Running as the African Action Congress (AAC) candidate, Ifemeludike received 292 votes across 5,718 polling units, while Governor Charles Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) won by a wide margin with 422,664 votes.

Unfazed by the result, the actress took to social media to celebrate her loyal supporters, expressing gratitude and extending a personal invitation to meet them. “Dear 292 Solidarity voters, when can we have lunch, wine and hug? I can’t wait. Thank you. I love you,” she posted on X.

Ifemeludike’s campaign emphasized grassroots development, solar energy initiatives, subsidized education, and improved state security. She leveraged her background as a “female unionist” and former AAC chairperson to advocate for practical and inclusive governance.

Beyond politics, Ifemeludike has carved a niche in Nollywood with a career spanning over a decade. She gained recognition through her YouTube series Corpers Heaven, inspired by her National Youth Service Corps experience, and has produced several notable Igbo-language films, including Painful Truth, Commissioner for Happiness, Mortuary Gate, Plantain Girl, and Made in Heaven.
