Early this morning 16 December 2018, LASAA officials in uniform were caught destroying and in come cases carting away the A boards of PDP gubernatorial candidate Jimi Agbaje. It appeared to be a synchronized, organized operation as they were moving to different parts of Lagos to do the nefarious work. Almost everywhere Jimi Agbaje had his A boards were targeted! It is scenes of wanton destruction all over Lagos this morning.
They were photographed removing from Ikeja, loading into trucks,
and finally a unit of the LASAA staff were apprehended at Gbagada.
They were taken to Pedro
Police Station where Jimi Agbaje drove to & spoke to the press.
A formal complaint has been lodged but Lagosians, does it not prove that Lagos State is indeed in BONDAGE? Who is afraid of FREEDOM FOR THE PEOPLE?? Can the people not choose whom they want? Why attempt to eradicate all traces of opposition? The APC have behaved like thieves, coming in the dead of night to do evil!!
This is a frightening & worrisome development when a government agency is used to intimidate and drown out opposition.
The noose of BONDAGE is being tightened around the peoples neck! The noose MUST be broken NOW if the people are not to choke to death!!
LASAA will come out to say;
1. The men were not their employees but one of them had his ID card on him. OR
2. They will say JK campaign organisation did not ask permission before placing boards but the law is clear on exemption from permission for political periods. the COP indeed had a meeting with all political parties just over a week ago, asking for a peaceful run up to elections. LASAA was present & all the parties made it clear that advertising during elections had waivers.
3. They will say PDP A boards exceeded a certain size, which is patently false. At all times the party has worked within the specifications allowed. In fact APC gubernatorial candidate has boards all over Lagos obviously contravening the specifications &
placed everywhere they should not by LASAA law be, but of course LASAA is blind to that!
Why have NONE of Sanwo-Olu’s been touched?
4. LASAA have stated that JK posters constitute a nuisance & so regularly flush them down with a powerful hose. Yet APC posters are seen to be “ decorative” & are left alone.
People of Lagos, let there be a level playing field. Today’s events have shown that the APC are scared of the POWER of the people. It is time to
#EMBRACE FREEDOM!!
