A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Victor Oshioke has argued that the University of Ibadan shied away from the pertinent questions raised about the academic credentials of Governor Obaseki.
He stated that, Obaseki’s O/Level results do not qualify him to have been admitted into the institution.
He also reiterated that, the documents Obaseki attached to his expression of interest form in 2016 is different from the ones he has attached to his 2020 form.
He further stressed that the UI degree certificate the Governor parades, is different from the certificates of other UI alumni who graduated at the same time with the Governor.
The University of Ibadan, had earlier, through its registrar had confirmed that Governor Obaseki had graduated from the University in 1979 with a Second Class Honours, Lower Division in Classics.
